Expansion of a container terminal and implementation of systems to control maritime port

Expansion of facilities to increase capacity in TEUs of containers stacking yard and integrating CCO (Operational Control Center) with 18,000 meters of fiber optic cables to new CCTV systems. The system for location of containers is connected with GPS, radio stations installed on the patio with position sensors. The substation was expanded with new generators and UPS for redundancy in providing alternative energy. The OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system was installed in the access gate for control of cargo inside the courtyard with integrated biometrics system. The OCC (Operations Control Center) was expanded with a radio communication infrastructure for in 927 Mhz frequency with the installation of antennas for RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). Installation of metal frame, mats mobile carriers and also articulated to transport grain between the port and storage area. Order to prevent instability in the inclination and twist the equipment was installed dynamometric axis, tilt sensors, frequency inverters connected to UPS. The control of the production will be through laser scanners integrated with the PIMS-Process Information System management system in the automation room reducing demurrage charges in the port area.

Technical Summary
